video! Thankful to have found a professional and honest company! I received A violation from DEP for my broken pipe and frantically searched for a few companies. Two companies gave me a very expensive price. Elvis from Harris gave me a very fair price but also mentioned that he didn’t think it was my pipe that was broken. As he suggested I called DEP to review again and indeed they agreed! I can’t thank Elvis and the entire team for being honest and professional! Note- I had the DEP insurance and like many others they denied the claim with no true explanation. I have since cancelled my policy!read more

Thank you to the entire Harris Team! I was issued a DEP violation for a leaking water main which I thought was my neighbors problem. Long story short I was Told to call a company in Queens who was double the price of Harris. Harris was great all the way from a pricing perspective to the workers and office staff. Harris stepped up when our basement was a sewage flood zone a few days before Christmas and got two big jobs done on time and on budget. Both the inside and outside sewer pipe jobs had frustrations along the way for Lyndon, Stanley and their guys (late inspectors, etc) but both crews were friendly, helpful, respectful of our property, and flexible with our requests. Harris Water Main & Sewer was amazing!I worked with Elvis and his crew. They were absolutely professional. Initially, I thought my plumbing problem was a burst, leaking external sewer pipe from my basement to underneath the sidewalk, and that 8 feet of the sewer pipe had to be replaced. The Harris team dug approx. 8-10 feet deep into the sidewalk and quickly saw that all the external sewer pipes connected to the main city spur were burst and had to be replaced (over 15 feet). They went above and beyond and replaced all 15 feet with new pipes.They got the job done swiftly and professionally. No time was wasted - the crew was courteous and did their job well. I received a 3 day notice on Thursday and honestly had no clue what to do, I was in a panic. I found Harris Water and happy I did so, they were extremely professional, their price was lower than all of the other quotes I received and Elvis who made the site visit was excellent to work with. This is the best company in every single aspect, if you have to deal with replacing you pipes due to low pressure or no water cases. Thankful for the reference to Harris from Ajax plumbing after 3 plumbers and one other water main company I was grateful for a professional assessment and estimate of the job. The job ended up being two days rather than one which did not matter as I was so happy to have a major sewer issue fixed. I wanted to take the time to write this review for Harris Water main. I appreciate them resolving my water main and fire sprinkler issue after a frigid winter. They were able to complete the work efficiently and I trusted the workers inside and out of my house.I appreciate the most that they were able to work with me financially and understood the crisis my issue was giving me. The management was great in that aspect and the phenomenal ladies in the office were extremely personable and a true breath of fresh air every time I walked in the office. Recently became aware of a sinkhole in front of my house and determined that my sewer line was broken. I reviewed and met with a few companies to gain a better understanding of what was needed. I am happy to have met Mike Kayne from Harris. He was patient with all of my questions, didn't try and force me into a quick decision like others. And most of all he actually gave me a cost effective option to repair a section of my pipe which nobody else did. After further explaining the risk with this I decided to replace the entire sewer line but did feel a level of comfort just for the fact that Mike gave me the option. He also advised on all variables to take place during the installation process. Recently used Harris Sewer after my insurance company denied a claim for my broken sewer. They claimed the pipe was back pitched and not covered under warranty. I received several estimates from private firms who were all trying to either sell me an entire new sewer or trying to charge me an exorbitant amount of money.Finally I was referred to Harris who advised that they could repair just a section of the pipe if we were able to identify where the back pitch was located which was later provided by the insurance company.Long story short, the work was completed with a DEP inspection and all in one day. Before I moved into my house in Brooklyn 5 years ago, the inspector advised me to replace the sewer and water lines going from the street to the house. (At that time, it still had the original lead water pipe from 1902, when the house was built!) I'm so glad that someone referred me to Harris. They did a most excellent, totally professional job. This is not one of those fly-by-night companies (so prevalent in Brooklyn) that are more intent on avoiding paying their business taxes than on doing a good job. It was amazing to see, but this company does this every day and they really know their stuff! I recommend them without reservation.read more

We had a broken sewer pipe. From the very beginning they were very professional. They came out and gave us a quote. They called to schedule a day for the job. They showed up on time and got the job done. They came back at a later date and repaved the road in front of our house. I was impressed when they followed up with a thank you for service and a copy of our full paid invoice. I did not expect this type of treatment. Usually after the job is done the consumer usually hears nothing from the business. Overall, I am satisfied with the job. I was fairly upset when I got a 3-day notice from the city about my leaking water main, in fact i really didn't know what to do. I called my regular plumbers, but they said they weren't equipped to do this job. Thankfully they referred me to Harris. We quickly got an appointment scheduled for them to come out and take a look. Once I got the estimate and paid the deposit, they took over, getting all permits and applications, handling the 3-day notice, etc. I didn't need to lift another finger. The job itself was big and messy and loud, but I don't think there's any other way to repair something buried in the sidewalk and your driveway. I was impressed with their speed and efficiency. They got here first thing in the morning and the primary job was done before close of business. Two other crews came by in the following days to do the final repair on the road and my driveway. In all, getting the notice was super stressful and no one likes to pay a bunch of money out of the blue, but given that there was no way out except to fix it, Harris gave me a ton of peace of mind and took the job completely off my plate. I would definitely use them again.read more

When I got a three day notice from the city, I knew that I needed to find someone who could come ASAP to fix the issue or else the water would be shut off. I turned to Harris water main and Sewer contractors for help. They came within a few days to assess the site and the problem and sent a team to come fix it pretty soon. They finished the job pretty quickly and cleaned up any residue from the work and made it look just like before the construction took place. I am really grateful for Harris to be able to come as soon as they did and in doing such a great job.read more

The week before Christmas my neighbor informed me that he believed my sewer line was leaking into his basement. This was confirmed and I had three companies come out and give me quotes. I was the fourth house on our Clinton Hill block to do this work and I'm the only one who was thrilled by the company that I hired (one house on the block is still waiting on the repairs to the section of the street that was opened which gets performed after the final payment which is due when work is done). This crew worked incredibly long hours and was completely professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The proposal was actually a bit lower than the others I received and there was very little cleanup required in my basement (i had expected a total disaster). They were very clear about how the process would go along and answered all my questions.read more
